National Learn to Row Day 2018

The 17th-annual National Learn to Row Day sponsored by USRowing and Concept2 will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in rowing clubs and health clubs throughout the United States. Competitive and recreational rowers range in age from 12 to over 90, so it is never too early or too late to take up the sport.

National Learn to Row Day is always the first Saturday of June. The day is set as a national awareness for learning to row.

Participants should wear exercise clothing, but nothing too baggy. Rowers do not wear shoes in the boat, so you may want to bring socks. A hat and sunscreen are a must. Bring your refillable water bottle! Our boathouse has locker rooms to store your bag while you're out on the water.

Sessions available:
9am - 10am
12pm - 1pm

This program is open to new rowers, ages 12 through adult. The only requirement is that participants be able to swim. Please note there is a $10 fee imposed by Westchester County Parks & Recreation to drive into Glen Island Park.

There is no fee for this program.

Rain date: Saturday, June 9th.
