As a coach, Rachel has primarily focused on the U17/Frosh/Novice athlete, but has experience as a head and assistant coach of all levels of rowing including junior girls and boys, masters, and learn to row. Her success with the National Cathedral School contributed to 11 Stotesbury Cup Regatta medals (8 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze), 2 Women’s Henley Finals, 1 Scholastic National Championships, and countless regional medals and championships (VASRA and WMIRA).

Rachel joined the local powerhouse club TBCRacing as an assistant in 2009 and stepped into her role as the Head Girls U17 Coach in 2014. Aside from her crews’ performances, Rachel instills passion and utilizes rowing as a means to teach her athletes the importance of heart, ambition, respect, and discipline. She firmly believes that winning is about who you become in the process and the strength of character required to get you there.
