June 18th, 2017:  NYS Grade 2 Premier League End-of-season Festival


At Cold Spring Park, this end-of-season festival attracts six strongest 2nd grade teams, they are : Newton United,   Hotspur,  Hamburger, Benfica, Juventus, and Valencia.   These are the most challenging matches we had for our 2nd grade youths.  And it is a continuity of the grade 2 Sunday little league (aka G2S) that played on four Sundays.  The festival really gave our strong players an extra opportunity to match amongst the best Newton second graders.  

All games were played by 4v4.   Teams in a relatively short period oftime played 3 games each, plus one additional knockout game.    Post-match POPSIGOAL celebration was brilliant and threw all the festival to its summit : after every match, refs should send their players to this popsigoal round.  Popsigoal round will take place at where the scoreboard is.    Popsicle will be given out to scoring players for free.
