Introduction of district staff (new & existing members since we have new league members)
New items for this year (See Presentation):
- Regulation II, 4-7 Year Olds (including sibling eligibility)
- Central Registration using Sports Connect (Will track the Reg. II changes & also make tournament affidavit process simpler)
- LLB Abuse Awareness Training
- JDP Background checks
- Constitutions and Data Center usage
District 19 Topics/Opportunities & Feedback Needed:
- Update/Confirm Officers in Data Center
- Charter applications and ASAP plans submission
- Player assessment fees and tournament fees
- Consideration of an 11 yo SB District Tournament for 11 yo SB Invitational participation
- Consideration of a 7-8 yo SB District Tournament (this will also be discussed at the Section level)
- District BB & SB HR Derby
- 2025 Tournament approach re: umpires, baseballs/softballs, etc. (Is anyone actually requesting/collecting for the umpires from other leagues?)
