The new home of CVGFP 2020

    The year 2020 has been hard in so many ways! Our girls lost a whole season to the virus but we are so lucky to be getting to play some games and calling it Summer/Fall 2020!
    This year we have adopted a new field for our 10u and 12u girls to call home! The borough of Monaca has graciously opened the gate to Antoline Park Baseball field on Marshall Rd in Monaca Heights to us! There are so many great things about this new field! WE HAVE LIGHTS! The girls love playing night games under the lights! We have a batting cage now! We are getting so much use out of that batting cage! There is a press box with a P.A. system to call some games and a scoreboard!
    Best of all, we now have a concession stand for all our home games! The concession stand got its start with generous donations from the families of our players! It is bring in money to help keep both of our fields in tip top shape and pay for the electricity for the lights! The concession stand is open for all home games of 10u and 12u games. They are serving candy, pop, Gatorade, chips, popcorn, Slushies, hot dogs, nachos and buffalo chicken dip! They also have popsicles and ice cream bars!
The home field of the 6u and 8u girls this 2020 season is still the Center Rec field on Chapel Road. There is a game just about every night in August and the first half of September at the Rec field. Please stop by and watch these girls play! They are small and mighty and they are the future of Central Valley Fastpitch Softball! We will be seeing a lot of them go far!
