It's time for the 2023 Central Valley Girls Fast Pitch Rec League Season and Registration is open January 1, 2023, at Central Valley Girls Fast Pitch > Home (bluesombrero.com) We are happy to announce that we will continue to offer the multi-player discount to families with more than one player ($10 per sibling). Central Valley continues to have some of the lowest registration fees in the Beaver County area. We are excited to get the kids outside playing again this spring. Registration will close on March 6th (Late registration-3/3/-3/6; $20 fee), and we expect to begin practicing as soon as possible. Our season will run from April 24th thru June 16th for 6U and 8U. Playoffs for the 10U, 12U, Middle School and High School divisions to start June 19th.
Also, this year we will continue to have our 20% off coupon for Dick's Sporting Goods but instead of being just 1 day this year it will be available for the entire weekend. Shop weekend will be from 3/10/2023-3/13/2023. Please come out that weekend and pick up all your equipment or anything that you might need for your family for the upcoming year and save 20%. Our girls will get credit for every coupon used that weekend no matter if you buy all the gear you need for the year or a simple pair of socks. The coupon will be a link located at the bottom of your order confirmation and receipt email. We will send an email with the coupon at a later date.
*** We will have one fundraiser to help us maintain our low fees and that will be a St. Patty’s Day Wing Bash held in conjunction with Central Valley High School Softball Boosters. This event will be held on March 18th at the Monaca Turners. It is a great event with all you can eat and drink wings, beer, and pop along with some great prizes, Chinese auctions, and raffles. Please take this opportunity to support our girls at this event. Tickets are $25 and are available from any CVGFP Board Member or Coach. Tickets will be limited due to capacity restrictions so please reach out early to get your tickets. **Donations for the wing bash such as gift cards to local restaurants or businesses as well as gift baskets for the Chinese auction are greatly appreciated.
