Bobcats Girls Youth Hoops gives girls in 4th, 5th and 6th grades the opportunity to compete against other local teams in the Beaver Valley Youth League. Our volunteer-led organization aims to teach girls the fundamentals of basketball, develop skills and sportsmanship, and foster a love of the game in a supportive team environment. 

 

Practice will begin on on November 8th and be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Dutch Ridge gymnasium.

• 4th grade: 5:30–7pm

• 5th grade: 4–5:30pm

• 6th grade: 7–8:30pm

 

 

Games will be held on weeknights in January and February, with additional possible playoff games for the 5th and 6th graders in March. Cost is $45 per player and uniforms will be provided by the league.

 

Every player who signs up will be placed on a team. The 5th and 6th grade team(s) play in a competitive league and team assignments will be made based on the number of registered players and each player's experience and assessed skill level.
