Gator Families,

Like all of you, we are closely monitoring the rapidly developing situation with COVID-19. As of today, nothing in Parks and Rec has changed. We are still "closed until further notice." However, schools being closed through April 24th affects what our teams and league can do. 

MYLA is still looking at several scenarios, including a mini-season in May. Our program is also investigating ways to add Shamrock Shootout to the end of the traditional lacrosse season, should playing become permissible. For now, we are sitting tight and praying for a swift end to the quarantine. Should we have the need to cancel this season all together, refunds will be issued to families and to teams who have registered for the Shootout. 

Uniforms, spirit wear (including Shamrock tees), and coaches gear have been available via the vendor; however, they are considered non-essential and have been closed. Additionally, we are not permitted to gather in large groups at the park where we would normally hand out these items. We may have to wait on this a little longer in order to ensure everyone's safety. We appreciate how patient you all have been with this situation. 

We miss being on the fields with you! PHRC Girls Lacrosse truly has the best families within our program and we hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram for training videos, workouts, etc. and as always, be sure to share your pics/videos with us as well. The fields may be closed, but all backyards are open for individual training! 

For those with questions about Crush LC: that Board is meeting virtually tomorrow evening. The Crush LC President will send out information via email and SM at a later date.
