Dear New Milford Little League Families,
As we get ready for another great baseball season, we’re excited to welcome both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. We’re looking forward to a season filled with great games, team spirit, and lots of fun at the fields!
One of the traditions that helps keep our Little League community running is the snack stand, and this year our family will be helping manage it throughout the season. The snack stand is always a busy and fun spot on game days, and we rely on our families to help keep it running smoothly.
Each family is encouraged to sign up for at least one 2-hour shift during the season. After completing your shift, your $70 volunteer fee will be refunded. Of course, if you enjoy it and would like to volunteer for additional shifts, we would absolutely welcome the extra help!
Don’t worry — the shifts are simple! Volunteers mainly help with:
• Taking orders
• Pouring drinks
• Handing out snacks
There will always be snack stand managers present to handle cooking and help with anything you need, so no experience is necessary.
Volunteering is also a great way to meet other Little League families and be part of the game day energy that makes this season so special for our players.
