Description
The Players’ Academy CHOICE program is open to ALL 5 to 9 year old boys and girls as an introduction to this forging ground that encompasses the mental, physical, technical and tactical aspects of the game of soccer. The Players’ Academy is a perfect introduction to an age appropriate soccer skill development and learning environment that will assist in forming the character traits that will serve children for the rest of their lives.
Curriculum
The Players’ Academy CHOICE program will:
· Teach the players how to develop an appetite for self-improvement and training
· Teach individual essential character traits and values
· Prepare all players with technically and tactically understanding for their desired level of play.
Typical Session

DATES & RATES
Structure
The Players’ Academy CHOICE program will be open to ALL participants who will attend one session per week for a period of 7-weeks. Session 1 & 2 are held at Hollister Elementary School and Session 3 & 4 are held at Girsh Park Turf Field.
Session 1: Fridays 5:00-6:15 pm (September 7 to October 19, 2018)
Session 2: Fridays *4:15-5:15pm (October 26, to December 21, 2018) *Due to Daylight Savings Time
Session 3: Fridays *4:45-5:45pm* (January 11, 2019 to March 1, 2019) *No Session February 15 due to Presidents' Holiday
Session 4: Fridays 5:00-6:15pm* (March 22, 2019 to May 10, 2019, May 17 will be a rain make up) *No Session March 29 due to Spring Break

Fees
$120 (per player per 7-week session). All first-time participants must purchase a $15.00 T-shirt which will be available at the venue the first two weeks of the session.
Payment
All registered players are responsible for remitting all fees prescribed by Santa Barbara Soccer Club Players’ Academy. Payment must me made in full prior to the start of each session. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the Registration Button.

Please arrive to class 15 minutes prior to the start of each session and pick-up promptly at completion. All parents/guardians must checkout PRIOR to the end of each class. Please make sure that all friends and family members who may be signing out your child are listed as authorized pick-up persons in your account.
What to bring
- Must bring a ball
- Wear proper soccer cleats or sneakers (closed toe) & shin guards
- Wear Players’ Academy attire to each practice
Discounts
· Sibling: $5 off each additional child enrolled. **Discount will automatically be applied when you register your two children.
· Multiple Sessions: $5 off each additional session enrolled.
· Return Class Participant: $5 off each child who is a return participant from 2017-18.
All registrations must be submitted and paid online at the same time in order to receive a discount. Discounts CANNOT be combined, maximum $5 off per camper per week. In order to receive your PROMOTIONAL CODE for these discounts, you must email Nicole Bates, Recreation Administrator, prior to completing your online registration at [email protected].

Refund Policy or Cancellations
If you must cancel, please do so as early as possible so that we can forward you a class credit via the mail. All ONLINE payments are non-refundable unless Santa Barbara Soccer Club cancels the class.
