Open to ALL Santa Barbara SC boys and girls born in the years 2009 to 1999
Description
The Northern Training program is open to ALL Santa Barbara SC players in the 2009 to 1999 age group that live North of Santa Ynez or more than a 45 minute drive from Santa Barbara. Our club teams include players and families from cities such as Lompoc, Santa Maria, Atascadero and Arroyo Grande. Our Northern Training program offers the opportunity to bridge the gap and lightens the travel while still providing a third training day a week.
Players participating in the Northern Training Program are still asked to attend a minimum of one/two sessions per week with their respective teams.
Curriculum
The Northern Training program is a perfect opportunity to develop age appropriate soccer technical skill. The program is tailored to the club's age-specific training curriculum focusing on the core technical disciplines such as passing, dribbling, ball control and finishing.
Typical Session
A typical sample practice as part of the Northern Training program would include any of the below pillars: Warm-Up, Technical Session Topic, and Small-Sided Games.
DATES & RATES
Structure
The Northern Training program will be open to Santa Barbara SC players who will attend one session per week at Rancho Grande Park, Arroyo Grande.
Session 1: Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm (September 26 to November 14, 2017)
Session 2: Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 pm (March 6 to May 15, 2018)
Note: No session on March 27 due to Spring Break. Session time will be adjusted throughout the year (15-30 minutes) due to Daylight Savings Time.

Fees
No fees are associated with the program for Santa Barbara SC players. All players must still sign up so that coaches may plan sessions and track attendance. Click here to register.

· Wear proper soccer cleats & shin guards
