Wild '07 - JTAA Fall League Tournament (Day 1 Recap)

The Wild '07 split a pair of games to begin the JTAA fall league tournament.

In the first game, the Wild cruised to a 12-0 victory over the South Florida Boltz. Brianna M. lead the way with two hits. Maddie pitched a complete game shut out going three innings, giving up two hits, two walks and two strikeouts.

The Wild '07 watched the second game slip away early and could recover in an 11-6 loss to the Martin County Cruisers. Wild '07 lost despite out-hitting Martin County Cruisers eight to five. Wellington Wild 07 scored six runs in the third inning. Yasmin G, Madelyn T, Gabby D, Victoria P, and Brianna M all drove in runs in the frame.

Gabby took the loss for Wellington Wild 07. She surrendered six runs on five hits over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Brianna M. led Wellington Wild 07 with two hits in two at bats.
