The Wild '07 team had a long day at the field by finishing up their seed game and finishing 2nd in the Rally Round-Up Tournament
Championship Game
Wild 07 stayed in the championship game until the end, but PBG Lady Gators Orange pulled away late in a 14-13 victory. Wild 07 saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Brianna, Madelyn T, and Victoria all managed multiple hits with Madelyn and Brianna having three hits each.
Wild 07 got things moving in the first inning scoring one run when Brianna M doubled. Wild 07 notched five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by was led by Brianna, Victoria P, Iznaya C, and Haven B, all driving in runs in the inning.
Victoria took the loss, but lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and 14 runs while striking out two.
Wild 07 managed through a push by Sunrise Thunder in the first inning, but still won 6-3 on Sunday. Wild 07 pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. Madelyn T singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Brianna M singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs. Kaiya G led the way with two hits in two at bats.
Victoria P pitched to victory. She went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out six.
Quarterfinal Game
Wild 07 ran off with the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over Coconut Creek Crush. Wild 07 built a four-run lead in the second inning and then held off Coconut Creek. Wild 07 put up three runs in the second inning via RBI groundouts by Madelyn T and Brianna M. Victoria P went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the attack. Madelyn got the win lasting four innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out seven.
Seed Game
The Wild 07 began the day early with a convincing 10-1 win over PBG White. Victoria P started the game and went one inning giving up 1 run on no hits with three strikeouts. Gabby d finished in the circle pitching 2 innings with no hits, no runs, and 4 strikeouts.
