DTLLL Plays a dream game at the San Rafael Pacifics

The team with the most tickets sold during the San Rafael Pacifics Ticket Sale competition was the AA (coach pitch) Seals, who sold more than 100 tickets! They won a dream game at the San Rafael Pacifics.

On Thursday, June 6th they played a game against the AA Little Pacifics (sold the 2nd most in their division) at Albert Park right before a San Rafael Pacifics game! All involved had a blast.

It was a beautiful day for baseball and the San Rafael Pacifics were amazing hosts to our little league teams. The AA Little Pacifics put on a hitting clinic and drove the ball well all day. Kids were making plays all over the field. The Seals fought off some early nerves and settled into the glory of playing on a professional baseball field.

More than anything, it was a great way to start to wind down the year, appreciate how far these kids have come, and spend some time together.

AA or "Coach Pitch" division consists of 6,7,8 year olds. The majority are in 1st grade and are 7 (little league age) years old. Coaches pitch to players, no tee is used, and "outs" count for the first time. No score is kept but kids are learning to make plays and start making decisions by themselves on the field and running the bases. Everything is kept positive as fun and learning take priority
