2019 Closing Day fun for all ages!

On a beautiful summer evening our Dixie Terra Linda Little League celebrated the end of our 2019 Spring Season together with our hometown San Rafael Pacifics. There were 650 in attendance, the vast majority from DTLLL!

We had a young right hander from our league's largest division, tee-ball, throw out the first pitch of the game. Kids from the Majors Yankees (who won the ticket sale drawing) and other kids from tee-ball and AA Coach pitch took the field with the Pacifics players to pay tribute during the national anthem.

Kids joined the fun dancing to music on the field before the game, there was a mini-homerun derby champ, and we chased A LOT of foul balls. It was one of those evenings where our community seems small and we found time to enjoy our friends and make a few new ones.

The Pacifics players and the entire Pacifics organization couldn't have been kinder - they've been true partners to us as we both look to support our community through baseball. What a great way to close out 2019 Spring Ball.

Oh, and the Pacifics dominated with solid pitching and strong hitting to win one from Salina 9-4.
