Here at Tiny Troops Soccer®, we promise to provide an affordable, close-to-home soccer program led by experienced coaches who are specially trained in age-appropriate techniques.

ABOUT

Tiny Troops Soccer® is a developmental soccer program that focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game as well as developing gross motor and social skills, body and spatial awareness, and the ability to thrive within a group setting. This is accomplished through fun games and activities that are specifically designed to support proper early childhood development.  Although TTS® is inspired by military families, we welcome all children (you must have a military or government ID to participate in on-base sessions)! We are military spouse owned and operated.

HISTORY

TTS® was started in 2015 by a military spouse. It quickly spread from the pilot location and is currently run near twenty-seven military bases.

GOALS

Here at TTS® we focus on the overall physical and cognitive development of your child.  Our primary focus is on developing gross motor skills through fun games that encourage balance, coordination, jumping, running, and kicking. In our sessions, your child will learn basic soccer skills in addition to listening skills and the ability to function within a group setting.

FUNDAMENTALS

TTS® sessions focus on the greatest fundamental of soccer, dribbling. Mastering dribbling skills is essential to developing a solid soccer player. We also introduce basic soccer moves, scoring, and the concept of match play, all while improving gross motor skill development.

STRUCTURE

TTS sessions are specifically researched and designed for children ages 2-4.  All of our sessions are designed with a special emphasis placed on proper childhood development.  We take children through an exciting and interactive session beginning with a fun warm-up game, followed by skill-building games. You will find that unlike other youth soccer programs, we only “scrimmage” for a few minutes each session in order to maximize the time spent on age-appropriate skills.

COACHES

All of our coaches have extensive playing, coaching, and/or refereeing experience, and especially love working with the little ones! Most are military spouses who are committed to our mission of serving military families and the surrounding communities with an affordable soccer program.  All coaches have undergone customized TTS® training, are CPR and First Aid certified, and have completed thorough background checks.
