The Honorable Donald Burns Baker age 83 passed away peacefully at his home in Clintwood Virginia on Thursday October 7, 2021.  

Our most precious and long term friend and mentor Mayor Baker has passed away.  Many memories have been made and shared by children and adults fortunate enough to have worked with or benefited from his tireless service to Little League Baseball.    This generous soul has spent most of his life giving in service to others. Virginia District 13 was fortunate to have the Mayor at the helm as District Administrator for 26 years.  The Mayor was the first District Administrator for the newly formed District 13 in 1989 and served until 2015.  He also served as a Virginia Little League officer. 

His warm smile and kind heart will be missed by all.
