Inverness Little League is currently in search of volunteers for April 20 & 21, 2024.  By volunteering you will support our players by raising funds for field costs, lowering registration fees, paying for necessary equipment, and covering other costs associated with creating a safe and welcoming environment.  We are hoping that you might be interested in partnering with us on these dates to help support our athletes.   

 

On the dates above, we are looking for volunteers who are able to work in the concession stand at Whispering Pines.  We would like the volunteers to come in shifts from approximately 8:00am-11:30am, 11:15am-2:45pm, and 2:20pm-5:45pm.  At least four people are needed for each shift, for a total of 12 or more volunteers each day but shifts can be split if you are only able to cover part of a shift.  An adult is needed to run the grill in the outdoor, covered pavilion space, 2 people will be indoors taking and fulfilling customer orders, and one person will help indoors as necessary and serve as a runner to carry meat between the grill and indoor concession space.  We will have a board member or two available on-site to troubleshoot issues and help with any other concerns you may have. Please let us know ASAP if you are willing to help with these or other concession volunteer opportunities.  

 

There is still some opportunity for the hours of the tournament to shift as we don't yet know how many teams have signed up, however, these are the hours we are planning for until we hear that changes are necessary.
