Player Evaluation, Raffle Tickets, Donation Drive

We are excited to get Spring Ball 2022 started! Whether you’re new or a returning family, thank you,  for being part of the Jurupa Pony league. Without parents like you, we couldn’t make this season happen. 

Here’s a few reminders: 

We are an ALL volunteer program. From the managers to the Pony board, we all do it for our players.  At the end of the day, these are kids, the coaches are volunteers, the umpires are human and this isn’t the World Series.  Lets cheer, be excited, but remember the core reason we’re all out on the field. 

Now for Player Evaluations:

January 29th at 9:00 AM is player evaluations for Pinto, Mustang and Bronco Divisions only.  Shetland and Pony, keep reading for more information on raffle tickets and donation drive. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to check-in and warm up. Evaluations will be at Vernola Park.

When you arrive, head down the stairs and check-in with our board members at the table. They will give your player a number, direct them to their field and they can begin to warm up. Parents are required to stay on site but please stay in the bleacher area. 

** If you’re a manager for Spring 2022, separate communication will be provided with draft information. A mandatory manager meeting will follow player evaluations (around 10:00 AM) at Vernola Park. **

While your player evaluates, here's a few things you can do too - 

BASEBALL DONATION DRIVE
Join our baseball donation bin!  If you’re in need of equipment, check out what other JP families have donated. No questions asked, take what you need. 

If you have any previously loved, usable, in good condition, equipment, please have your donations to the field by 8:00 AM. Donation space will be provided in front of the baseball bin.

MEET THE BOARD
Have a question? We got answers! Our Jurupa Pony board will be on-site to meet and ask questions. 

JERSEY SIZING
On or before February 5th, your team parent will be requesting your players OFFICIAL jersey size. We will have jerseys of different sizes for you to look at to prepare you for that request. 

RAFFLE TICKETS
Last but not least, we will have our RAFFLE TICKETS available for pick up to all FULLY paid registered players. If you have a remaining balance, please pay that first at JurupaPonyBaseball.com. Raffle tickets will be available after all players have checked in for evaluation (around 9:00 AM) until 10:00 AM. We will have additional dates for pickup available as well.

***If you have been assigned and contacted by a team manager, you do not need to attend player evaluations, but we encourage you to come out and participate with the baseball drive.***

Managers are allowed to carry over 6 players including their own and their assistant coaches children. Remaining players for the team will be chosen via draft pick. Managers are still in the process of being notified.
