Neartown Little League~ Friendly Reminder

EVALUATION / TRYOUTS: All players age 7 and up mandatory for proper placement (if you are not able to attend Saturday please let us know [email protected].

DATE:SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27.
LOCATION:CARNEGIE VANGUARD HIGH SCHOOL
LOCATED: 1501 TAFT STREET, HOUSTON 77019
Park in the CVHS garage

Please note the following times for each respective division:
9am-T-Ball
10am- Coach Pitch
11am- Machine Pitch
12pm- Minor League (Make-up Tryouts)

GEAR:
Please be sure and have your players bring a glove, bat, helmet, water and whatever additional gear you see fit.
If you do not have a bat, glove, or helmet Neartown will have some available. We will wipe them down.

EQUIPMENT DONATION / EXCHANGE:
We will be offering an equipment donation and exchange during tryouts so please bring any new or gently used gear that your players have outgrown or no longer using.

ACADEMY 20% DISCOUNT WEEKEND (MARCH 5-7): Great weekend to purchase items your player needs.
Please head to Academy for a20% discount on all gear and any store items during the Neartown Little League Discount Weekend. This is a great time to get your players baseball pants.

Coaches- Academy has donated a coach’s kit buckets. Please pick your teams bucket up sometime over this weekend.

Still needing a few TB, CP & MP coach/assistant coach.

The Texas community has been hit hard this winter. Neartown LL is once again partnering with Emergency Aid Coalition Emergency Aid Coalition – Changing lives hand in hand. (eachouston.org)to help our Inner-City families on the edge of poverty and handle these recent winter events a little easier. EAC will have a bin available for all generous donations.
