The Rice Baseball clinic on Nov. 14th, 15th and 16th for Neartown Coach pitch and Minors divisions players is locked in. At a cost of $25 per day/per child (plus the daily $125 facility usage fee paid by Neartown Little League), Neartown families will receive instruction from Rice baseball players and coaches for one hour. The Coach Pitch clinic will run from 6:30 - 7:30, while the Minors clinic will run from 7:45 - 8:45. Each day of clinic will focus on different areas; a breakdown of the daily instruction and gear requirements is as follows:
Monday - infield/outfield: bring glove, hat and water
Tuesday - pitching/catching: bring glove, hat, full catching gear, and water
Wednesday - hitting: bat, hitting gloves, hat, glove and water
There is a parking lot with an access gate to Reckling on the third base (i.e. Northeast) side of the field. Parents are asked to ensure that their child has water and to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to the start of the clinic . A registration table will be set up for check-in just inside the gates where parents will pay the daily $25 charge per child. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted payment methods. In order to ensure adequate staffing, parents are asked to respond directly to Michael Leclier ([email protected]) no later than noon on Monday, November 7th with the following info:
1. BY DAY, how many of their children will attend clinic
2. BY CHILD, which practice session will they attend (i.e. which division their children are in).
Hope to see you there!
