URA Recreational League

URA Offers a variety of sports programs throughout the entire calendar year.

Our programs satisfy the recreational appetite of the most competitive, highly skilled players to the child that just wants to be a part of something.

We work hard to be sure each and every child walks away from their URA experience with a smile.

While all programs are simply recreational in nature (everyone makes a team), there are many that offer select or travel type experiences for that more competitive player, or perhaps the player that just wants to expand their season.  Many programs also offer off season type clinics and training to help keep players focused on the sports they love and wish to sharpen their skills on.

Be sure to reach out to the respective commissioner for the sport you are interested in to learn about the many opportunities URA has to offer.

Benefits of participation in URA programs include increased socialization and community awareness, development of new athletic, teamwork and leisure skills, increased physical and emotional well being, and increased self esteem, all in a fun, safe and structured recreation environment.

URA touches families primarily residing in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School district (Chadds Ford, Newlin, Pennsbury, Pocopson, Birmingham, East Marlborough and West Marlborough townships) as well as outlying areas including West Chester, Kennett and Avon Grove.

Current URA Program offerings include:

  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Lacrosse (Girls)
  • Field Hockey
  • Basketball (Boys and Girls)
  • Volleyball

The Unionville Community Recreation Association (URA) is a 100% volunteer, 501c nonā€profit organization (#23-7375176) dedicated to improving the quality of life for area youths by effectively managing and enhancing recreation programs and facilities.
