Bronco

BRONCO 12U
is a continuation of the philosophy to fit the diamond to the physical potential of the players. The bases and pitching distances are scaled up slightly from MUSTANG 10U

The transition diamond used in BRONCO 12U, permits infielders and outfielders to select their defensive positions in relationship to the anticipated speed of the ball when they field it. Without this transition diamond, BRONCO 12U players play their position disproportionately closer to the bases, infield and pitcher.

Skills we build upon - situational base running, ground ball fundamentals, building upon established pitching and catching skills, establishing a quality at-bat, and drop third strike.

Teams are determined by a tryout with those returning players staying on the same team.

Players are also eligibly for the All-Star team via a tryout to play in June to July to possibly include the Northwest Pony Regional in July.

Basic Information

Base length - 70 feet
Pitching distance - 50 feet

Baseball bats - must have USA Bat Stamp to be eligible, list of bats here
