2020 Season Details

We have some exciting news to share with everyone!  The board of directors have met and we all feel that we can resume the 2020 season and keep our children safe in the process.

By now everyone should have received a message from their respective coaches asking if your child will be returning to finish up the season. With that being said, we have had some questions about our safety plan as well as any rules due to Covid that we will be putting into place to help with keeping our children safe. Here are the new rules that we will be implementing going forward until Covid is no longer affecting everyone's daily life:

1. The bleachers will be used as an extension of the dugout so that the players can socially distance. They will be off-limits to family and friends of the players during this time.

2. Each dugout and associated bleacher will be disinfected before each game to ensure the safety of our players.

3. Each team will be assigned their own game ball for their players to use while playing defense.

4. Parents must wait in their car until the start of their child’s game.  Each family must socially distance and sit down the foul lines. Please remember all bleachers are set aside for the players.  All players will join their coach at the designated warmup time (while parents wait in the car).

5.  There will be NO after game player handshakes or team meetings.  All players, parents and coaches must exit the field immediately.

6.  There will be NO sharing of equipment. All players must have their own helmet, glove, bat and face mask.  All players must have their own water. There may NOT be any shareable water coolers in the dugout.

7. There will be hand sanitizer stations in each dugout for the players and coaches to use.

8.  Face masks are required when you are unable to socially distance.  Face masks are required when making purchases at the concession stand.

9. We are going to ask that all parents please be aware of how your child is feeling. Any child with a fever should stay home as a rule for the safety of all other children on the team / field.

We are looking to start back up with team practices the week of August 10th.  The first three weeks will be used as practice to start getting the girls back into game-day shape.

Actual games will begin the week of September 1st. Games will last until the end of October with getting in at least 14 or so games before the end of the season.

Sign ups are from 10 AM to 12 PM Saturday and Sunday 8/15- 8/16 and 8/22 - 8/23. Cost to sign up is $50.

We are very excited to get back out to the field and have our girls start playing ball again!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at your convenience. Thank you for your continued support!
