Stoneham Junior All Stars Win District 13 Championship!

Stoneham Jr. All Stars coasted to an easy victory over North Reading 14-4 on Saturday
In the first inning, Stoneham Jr. All Stars got their offense started. Stoneham Jr. All Stars scored two runs when Tommy O'Grady doubled.
Stoneham Jr. All Stars put up seven runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by singles by Pat McNamara, Joseph Kranefuss, Joshua Nardone, and O'Grady and a double by Nick Carino.
McNamara was on the hill for Stoneham Jr. All Stars. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out six.
McCarthy was on the pitcher's mound for North Reading. He allowed four hits and seven runs over four and a third innings, striking out two. Ducet threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Stoneham Jr. All Stars tallied 12 hits on the day. O'Grady, Michael Lynch, McNamara, and Kranefuss each collected multiple hits for Stoneham Jr. All Stars. O'Grady led Stoneham Jr. All Stars with three hits in four at bats.
Ducet went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead North Reading in hits.
