JUPITER TEQUESTA ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION HIRES DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

The Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (“JTAA”) announces the appointment of Jesse Kopp as Director of Development.

In the newly created role, Kopp will develop and manage the non-profit’s fundraising campaigns and a future capital campaign to fund the development of a new indoor gymnasium and redevelopment of outdated local parks.

Josh Slaybaugh, President of JTAA’s Executive Board says, “We’re ecstatic to have Jesse join our growing team and look forward to him communicating our story and fundraising needs to potential donors.”

Kopp holds a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Sports Management and an MBA in Sports and Athletic Administration from Lynn University. His previous fundraising and event planning experience comes from his work as Associate Director of Development and as Director of Alumni Engagement for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.

A 12-year resident of South Florida, Kopp and his wife currently reside in Lake Worth. His hobbies include golf, travel, and rooting for his favorite New York sports teams.

Founded in 1967, Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association is a volunteer based not-for-profit organization offering 17 youth sports programs to over 6,500 families living in Northern Palm Beach County. The mission of the JTAA is to provide athletic activities for school age children of the community and to help all participants in developing strong, healthy bodies and minds; the highest type of sportsmanship, understanding of and respect for the rules; courage in defeat, modesty in victory, and becoming good citizens.
