LYBL 2020 PHOTO DAY - FEB 1ST!

This Saturday, February 1st, the LYBL will be holding a photo session for all teams. We are using a local photographer, Carmen Garcia, for our pictures this year. She photographed other Ledyard sports organizations in the past, and her photos are fantastic! Best of all, 18% of the value of all photo orders will come right back to the LYBL as a fundraiser to benefit all players.

The order form for the pictures was emailed to all families. Parents must bring a completed order form with CASH or CHECK payment to the photo session. Paper copies will also be available on site at the photo session. No credit cards can be used for initial orders. Two weeks after Picture Day, the photographer will send a link to the parents, so they can see the digital file of their kids' pictures and choose a pose. Parents do have the option of ordering additional photos online at that point. Prints are then delivered 2-4 weeks later.

Most teams will take photos BEFORE their games on Saturday. Due to the timing, it is not possible for all teams to take pictures before games. Because of this, I am allowing a break in time for those teams who play early in the morning or outside of Ledyard to return later in the day allowing players to shower or at least clean up a bit. This schedule will be sent to everyone and posted on our website tomorrow as soon as it is confirmed with Commissioners and the photographer.

Players MUST attend the photo session EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT PURCHASING PHOTOS. Players who ARE ordering want to have all of their teammates and their coaches in their team photo.

Uniform for the photo session will be as follows:

- BITTY PLAYERS - Colored tshirt, dark (black or navy) shorts, dark (black or navy) socks, athletic shoes
- ALL OTHER DIVISION PLAYERS - Navy side reversible uniform jersey, navy t-shirt underneath jersey (if any t-shirt is worn), dark (black or navy) socks, and athletic shoes
