Clinton Little League is very excited to share two big changes coming to our league this year!
1. New Age Ranges:
CLL has adjusted the age ranges for each division.
T-Ball: ages 4-5 (*league age)
Coach Pitch: ages 6-8 (*league age)
Minor League: ages 8-10 (*league age)
Major League: 10-12 (*league age)
(*The age of your child on August 31,2020 is their League Age).
By making these age adjustments, we hope to create a more competitive coach pitch program, while also giving our players more time to develop the basic skills they need for the game. If your child is on the cuff for Minors or Majors, they will need to attend the draft day for a skills assessment. The coaches and board members will determine where they are placed.
2. New Interleague Play for Majors Division ONLY:
We are excited for the opportunity for more competitive play for our major league players! Clinton teams will travel to Montezuma, Rockville, Cayuga, & Marshall for some of their games this season. We will also host these teams at our own facilities. The end of the season tournament will feature all of the above listed teams, and seeds will be set by win percentage. This change also opens up the chance for new talent for our All Star teams, as we represent CLL at the District level!
