Coach Clinic - this is scheduled for March 13 10AM - 11:30AM and will be via Zoom. The cost if $10 per coach and they will pay when they register. The 90 minute Zoom will walk them through how to hold a practice, some drills to use communicating with the players. They will also have access to over 35 coaching videos to use at their convenience and a recording of the Zoom. This will be administered for us by Duke Baxter CEO of Zoned Academy. Duke is a sponsor for NJ LL and offers this course for $100 per coach. He is doing this as a favor for us at $10.
Softball Pitch Clinic - this is tentatively scheduled for March 20 10AM-11:30AM and will be an in person clinic. The instructor will be Korrisa Aguilar. The in person session will be $300 in total. We can decide how to cover this. Charge at the door or in advance per league etc. As we all know, pitching is critical in softball and this clinic can help our leagues/players.
As for our Safety Clinic - this is a work in progress. Our usual instructor is still on the fence as to being able to support remotely. We are working on using the state safety officer as a fill in. I hope to have a date for that within the week.
Please keep in mind that TMobile is still running their get in the game program which will pay a players registration for them. I have sent out the link for this a few weeks back. Please be sure to relay to families in need.
