February Update

Please read for important information about the upcoming season.

ALL FAMILIES

·       CLEAN UP DAY – We will have a clean-up day at Cureton Park on Saturday, April 2nd 10:00 am. We could use some assistance picking up trash, cleaning the cookshack and dugouts and hanging sponsorship banners.

·       EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE – We are accepting donations at Williams Elementary-Middle School Office and Ash Fork School Office. This is available to all players regardless of whether you have something to donate. One of our Board Members will be running the Exchange on both Skills Assessments (2/26 & 3/12) as well as Opening Day (4/30) so please stop by! Also, the Cookshack will be open at all three events!

·       BOARD MEETING – The next board meeting is Monday, March 7th 6:30 pm at Williams Rec Center. Anyone is welcome to attend.

·       OPENING CEREMONY – We will have Opening Ceremonies Saturday, April 30th instead of April 9th. This will allow the girls that play volleyball to participate.

·       UMPIRES – We need umpires. We can offer a small reimbursement for your time. Please register ASAP. We will have an umpire clinic soon.

·       REGISTER TO PLAY OR VOLUNTEER – There are instructions on our website in the News section if you need help.

·       MEDICAL RELEASE – Please hold on to your child's Medical Release Form. They will be turned into coaches on the first day of practice. Players will not be able to practice until a completed Medical Release Form has been given to the player’s coach.

 

TEEBALL (league age 4-6) / MINORS DIVISION (league age 6-9)

·       Practice to start in April. Please register by 11:59 pm March 31st. $10 late fee begins April 1st.

·       All players will be contacted by a coach for practice schedule. 

·       Games to start late April.

                                                       

MAJOR DIVISION (league age 9-12) / JUNIOR DIVISION (league age 13-15)

·       The first Skills Assessment is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th. We will email the Major and Junior division separately the schedule.

·       If you haven’t registered yet, please register by 11:59 pm February 28th. $10 late fee will be applied starting March 1st.

·       The second and final Skills Assessment has been moved to Saturday, March 12th instead of March 5th due to volunteer availability. All players will need to attend one of two.

·       Practice to start after second Skills Assessment.

·       All players will be contacted by a coach for practice schedule. 

·       Games to start first week of April.
