It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to fold the 8U Football team for the 2022 season.We entered the season with far less than the minimum required number of players, remaining hopeful that we would see an increase in registration over the next week allowing us to field the team. However, we still have less than half the players that is required to participate at a safe and competitive level. National Pop Warner Rules allow for any player who is currently 8 years old to play for our 10U team however any player who is currently 7 years old is not eligible for this exception.

*If your player is 8 years old and you would like him to play for our 10U team please come ready to practice tomorrow 8/6 9:30am-11:30am and check in with the registration table.

*If your child will not be playing for our 10U team or is ineligible due to age restrictions please come to the practice field tomorrow to collect any submitted paperwork and to request a refund for your season.

Additionally, we have reached out to The Springfield POP Warner organization; The Springfield Longhorns to ask that they accept any of our 8U players that still have a desire to play this season.
