Practice Schedule: Summer practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-7:30 PM. After Labor Day (September 6th), practices will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 PM. All practices are held at Chief Hampton Field, located behind Rose Tree Elementary School, and are subject to change with notice from the coach.

Practice Attire: Shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, no-show socks, and hair pulled up in to a ponytail. 

Game Information: Games are typically held on Saturdays. Home games are at Chief Hampton Field, located behind Rose Tree Elementary School. Away games are typically no more than 15-30 minutes away.

ROSE TREE COLTS CHEER RULES & REGULATIONS:

1.       All cheerleaders will be respectful of spectators, parents, coaches, teammates, opponents, Officials, Board Members, and volunteers.
2.       All cheerleaders will complete all homework assignments and work to maintain their school grades.
3.       All cheerleaders are required to attend ALL practices and games, be on time for practice and games, and, at all times, be physically and mentally ready to perform.
4.       All cheerleaders will work to improve as a cheerleader and to help their teammates improve.
5.       All cheerleaders will encourage all participants, whether teammate or opposing squad.
6.       All cheerleaders are responsible for bringing their own hydrating beverage to practices and games.
7.       All cheerleaders are required to keep all issued uniforms clean, safe and in their possession at all times.
8.       All cheerleaders are required to return all issued uniforms in clean condition and when requested.
9.       It is the cheerleader’s responsibility to notify their coach as soon as first possible, if it is necessary to miss a game or practice.
10.   The use of foul or demeaning language is not permitted.
11.   No cheerleader will mock, taunt, or demean another member of their own team or an opposing team.
12.   Fighting with another cheerleader is not permitted.
13.   Cheerleaders will not talk back to or be disrespectful to parents, coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and school employees or teachers.
14.   Cheerleaders will not damage the property of another.
15.   All cheerleaders are expected to arrive at games 1 hour ahead of game time. Any girl who arrives late will not be permitted to cheer in the half-time routine.
16.   All girls must arrive at the games in full uniform. This includes your bow, white sneakers, no show socks, and skirt and shell, or yoga pants and field shirt, as directed by the coaches. Black long-sleeved shirts will only be worn under the shell when advised by coaches.
17.   Hair must be pulled up in a high ponytail for all games.
18.   Jewelry is not allowed to be worn, including earrings.
19.   It is mandatory that all cheerleaders remain on the sideline and cheer for the duration of their respective game. Cheerleaders may only take a short break during half-time with coaches’ permission and are required to return within the designated time frame given them.
20.   All girls must come with a great attitude and be ready to have fun!
21.   The club has a zero-tolerance policy against bullying. BULLYING WILL NOT TOLERATED!!

ANY CHEERLEADER FOUND IN NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ABOVE RULES AND REGULATIONS AND/OR THE BERT BELL PARTICIPANT CODE OF CONDUCT WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINE AS PROVIDED IN THE BERT BELL DISCIPLINARY CODE. ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS AND PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRE TO SIGN AND RETURN A COPY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE CODE OF CONDUCT LISTED (See Next Pages for BB Disciplinary Code, Participant Code of Conduct, and Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct)

BERT BELL MEMORIAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE, INC.
DISCIPLINARY CODE

All Volunteers, Parents, Guardians, Guest and Participants are required to review, sign and comply, or by their presence at a sanctioned event, agrees to comply with the Bert Bell Memorial Football Conference, Inc. Code of Conducts. In the interest of providing a safe and positive environment for the children involved in Bert Bell and the Member Organizations, strict compliance with the Code of Conducts will be required and enforced at any and all Bert Bell and Member Organization functions, including but not limited to, sign-ups, practices, games, pep rallies, banquets, competitions and fund-raising events. Violations of the Code of Conducts will not be tolerated and violations will be subject to disciplinary action.

Violations will be brought to the Member Organization Board of Directors for review and determination as to what type, if any, disciplinary action is appropriate. The Board shall review the allegation/incident and render a judgment. If the Board, in its sole discretion, believes a hearing would be helpful in determining as to what type, if any, disciplinary action should be taken, the accused and aggrieved parties shall be given an opportunity to testify concerning the incident. There is no automatic right to a hearing. The Board, in its sole discretion, will determine who, if anyone, will testify or appear at a hearing. It shall be the responsibility of the Board to determine the appropriate disciplinary action for any offense. The disciplinary actions include, but are not limited to, the following:

·         Warning Letter
·         Probation
·         Letter of Reprimand
·         Fine
·         Practice/Game Suspension
·         Season Suspension
·         Lifetime Suspension
·         Civil or Criminal Prosecution

Due to the number of potential violations and varying degrees of severity, the Board, in its sole discretion, can decide to take or not take any disciplinary action. No warning is required. Additionally, Bert Bell or a Member Organization may pursue legal action as appropriate, including instituting a civil lawsuit and/or referring the matter for criminal prosecution, based on the nature and severity of the Code of Conduct violations. The decision of the Board shall be communicated to the accused and aggrieved parties and if either is from a different Member Organization, to the President or League Representative of that Member Organization.

In the event that the Board’s decision and/or disciplinary action are in dispute, the accused or aggrieved party may request a review by the Bert Bell Commissioner. The request must be in writing. If, in the Commissioners sole discretion, a review is warranted, the Commissioner may appoint a disciplinary review committee. The disciplinary review committee shall have a minimum of three members. Pertinent information on the incident including testimony, if any, shall be reviewed. The disciplinary review committee, in its sole discretion, may hold a de novo hearing. Upon review of all pertinent information, the disciplinary review committee shall either endorse or reject the Board's decision and disciplinary action by way of majority vote. In the event of a tie, the chairperson shall cast the deciding vote. If the disciplinary review committee rejects the Board’s decision and/or disciplinary action, the committee will be required to issue a recommendation on appropriate disciplinary action and the accused parties Member Organization shall enforce such action.


 COMPETITION CHEER 

Any cheerleader who participates in Field Cheer is eligible for our Competition Cheer team so long as they have no more than 2 unexcused absences from regular season/playoff games. Coaches must be notified in advance for any and all absences.

  • Unexcused absences include but are not limited to: birthdays, sports events or practices, family trips or events, parties, any time a coach is not notified ahead of practice of absence
  • Excused absences - illness, family emergency, school events
