Clutch 10u Blue Champions at USSSA Select 30

Indy Clutch 10U Reece seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Mad Dog 10u Red.  The game was tied at eight with Indy Clutch 10U Reece batting in the bottom of the sixth when Carter D singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Indy Clutch 10U Reece earned the victory despite allowing Mad Dog 10u Red to score six runs in the first inning.  Mad Dog 10u Red batters contributing to the big inning included #13, #12,  #16, and #21, all driving in runs in the frame.

Mad Dog 10u Red fired up the offense in the first inning, when #13 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Indy Clutch 10U Reece notched four runs in the third inning.  Carter, Zaire C, and Logan T all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Logan toed the rubber for Indy Clutch 10U Reece. He went one inning, allowing six runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one.

#11 started the game for Mad Dog 10u Red. He went three innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out seven.  #17 threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Indy Clutch 10U Reece tallied 12 hits in the game.  Carter, Logan, and William C all had multiple hits for Indy Clutch 10U Reece.  Carter led Indy Clutch 10U Reece with three hits in four at bats.  Indy Clutch 10U Reece stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. William led the way with three.
