10u Indy Clutch Blue USSSA Fall State Champions

10U Indy Clutch Blue took the lead late and defeated Midwest Naturals 7-5 on Sunday.  The game was tied at four with 10U Indy Clutch Blue batting in the top of the fourth when Christian W tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

10U Indy Clutch Blue earned the victory despite allowing Midwest Naturals to score three runs in the first inning.  Midwest Naturals big bats were led by #5, #3, and #16, who all drove in runs.

Midwest Naturals opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Midwest Naturals.

After 10U Indy Clutch Blue scored one run in the top of the fifth, Midwest Naturals answered with one of their own.  Midwest Naturals then answered when #5 doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

10U Indy Clutch Blue took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Carson B tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

10U Indy Clutch Blue tallied three runs in the third inning.  10U Indy Clutch Blue put the pressure on, lead by a triple by Eli L and an error on a ball put in play by Brayden F.

Wyatt S led things off on the mound for 10U Indy Clutch Blue. Wyatt went three and a third innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out two and walking one.

#8 started the game for Midwest Naturals. #8 surrendered six runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out seven.  #14 threw two innings in relief.

Christian led 10U Indy Clutch Blue with two hits in two at bats.

Midwest Naturals racked up seven hits.  #5 and #3 all managed multiple hits for Midwest Naturals.
