Clutch 10u Blue bring home the Championship at the USSSA Hoosier Cup

Even though 10U Indy Clutch Blue gave up three runs in the fourth inning, they still defeated JCards 10U 12-3 on Saturday.  Cort E and Beau L each drove in runs during the inning.

10U Indy Clutch Blue got things moving in the first inning, when Bryce G singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

10U Indy Clutch Blue scored six runs in the fourth inning.  Carson B, Landon C, Eli M, and Alex M all drove in runs in the frame.

Carson got the start for 10U Indy Clutch Blue. The righty allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking zero.

Cort was on the mound for JCards 10U. The pitcher went three innings, allowing ten runs on 11 hits and striking out seven.  Simon A threw one-third of an inning in relief.

10U Indy Clutch Blue saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game.  Carson, Landon, Bryce, Eli L, and Mason M each collected multiple hits for 10U Indy Clutch Blue.  Mason, Eli, Bryce, Landon, and Carson each collected two hits to lead 10U Indy Clutch Blue.  10U Indy Clutch Blue stole 12 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Drake D led the way with three.  10U Indy Clutch Blue didn't commit a single error in the field. Jordan B had  eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
