10U Indy Clutch Blue Clinches Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat New Orleans Sun Devils 10U

10U Indy Clutch Blue stole the lead late in the game in a 10-9 victory over New Orleans Sun Devils 10U on Sunday.  The game was tied at six with 10U Indy Clutch Blue batting in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run for 10U Indy Clutch Blue.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as 10U Indy Clutch Blue collected 11 hits and New Orleans Sun Devils 10U seven in the high-scoring affair

10U Indy Clutch Blue got things moving in the first inning, when Carson B doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Carson was on the hill for 10U Indy Clutch Blue. Carson surrendered five runs on one hit over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Drew M was on the mound for New Orleans Sun Devils 10U. Drew allowed three hits and three runs over two innings, striking out three.  Dillon L and Reid T entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and a third innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

10U Indy Clutch Blue socked two home runs on the day. Drake D went deep in the fifth inning. Dylan F had a dinger in the second inning.

10U Indy Clutch Blue had 11 hits in the game.  Jordan B and Dylan each collected multiple hits for 10U Indy Clutch Blue.  Jordan led 10U Indy Clutch Blue with three hits in three at bats.
