Clutch 10u Blue Runner Up at the USSSA Super Regionals

Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but 10U Indy Clutch Blue fell to Derby City Baseball Club 15-7 on Sunday.

The 10U Indy Clutch Blue struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Derby City Baseball Club, giving up 15 runs.

10U Indy Clutch Blue got things moving in the first inning.  Wyatt S drove in one when Wyatt singled.

Derby City Baseball Club pulled away for good with ten runs in the second inning.  In the second an error scored two runs for Derby City Baseball Club, an error scored one run for Derby City Baseball Club, #00 singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, #34 singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run, an error scored two runs for Derby City Baseball Club, and #7 homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

10U Indy Clutch Blue tallied three runs in the third inning.  Wyatt and Mason M each had RBIs in the big inning.

#12 led things off on the hill for Derby City Baseball Club. The ace went two and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out two.

Carson B led things off on the pitcher's mound for 10U Indy Clutch Blue. Carson lasted two innings, allowing five hits and ten runs while striking out four and walking one.  Bryce G threw one inning out of the bullpen.

10U Indy Clutch Blue racked up seven hits on the day.  Wyatt, Drake D, and Mason each racked up multiple hits for 10U Indy Clutch Blue.  Mason, Drake, and Wyatt all had two hits to lead 10U Indy Clutch Blue.
