In Walk-off, Indy Clutch 14U Loses To Canes Great Lakes 14U Gold 2026

Indy Clutch 14U fell to Canes Great Lakes 14U Gold 2026 13-12 on Sunday on the final play of the game.  The game was tied at 12 with Canes Great Lakes 14U Gold 2026 batting in the bottom of the sixth when AJ Bishop drew a walk, scoring one run.

Indy Clutch 14U trailed by six runs in the fourth inning, but then fought back to lower the final margin.  Indy Clutch 14U managed nine runs in the failed comeback. Ian Nicol, Brenden Burnett,  Jordan Palmer, Nicol, and Liam Stamper came through with RBIs to lead the rally.

Canes Great Lakes 14U Gold 2026 got things started in the first inning.  Jake Stopczynski hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

Finn Mulvehill led things off on the pitcher's mound for Canes Great Lakes 14U Gold 2026. Mulvehill went four and a third innings, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out six and walking one.

Harrison Garrett led things off on the mound for Indy Clutch 14U. The pitcher allowed one hit and five runs over two-thirds of an inning, walking zero.  Dylan Thompson, Stamper, Nicol, and Maddox Bielarczyk each entered the game as relief, throwing two and a third innings, two innings, one-third of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.

Indy Clutch 14U had seven hits in the game.  Burnett and Nicol each racked up multiple hits for Indy Clutch 14U.  Nicol and Burnett all had two hits to lead Indy Clutch 14U.
