Clutch 11u Runner Up at Bullpen Survivor Series

Despite a 5-run deficit in the fourth inning, Indy Clutch 11U almost came all the way back, eventually falling 11-10 to Indy Nitro Gold 11u on Saturday.  Indy Clutch 11U scored four runs in the failed comeback. Grant E, Lucas B,  Mason M, and Dylan F powered the rally with RBIs.

Despite the loss, Indy Clutch 11U did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Indy Nitro Gold 11u had 12 hits on the way to victory.

Indy Nitro Gold 11u got things moving in the first inning.  Indy Nitro Gold 11u scored two runs when Player singled.

Indy Clutch 11U put up four runs in the fifth inning.  Indy Clutch 11U put the pressure on, lead by  by Lucas and Mason and a single by Grant.

Indy Nitro Gold 11u scored four runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower by Indy Nitro Gold 11u was led by Player, Player,  Player, and Player, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Player got the start for Indy Nitro Gold 11u. The fireballer surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two.

Landon C led things off on the pitcher's mound for Indy Clutch 11U. The righty allowed seven hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out two.  Dylan and Grant entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Indy Clutch 11U saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game.  Grant, Carson B, and Bentley K each had multiple hits for Indy Clutch 11U.  Bentley, Carson, and Grant all had two hits to lead Indy Clutch 11U.  Indy Clutch 11U stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Jeffery Y led the way with three.
