BYSO Spring 2022 Soccer Season Update

Hello BYSO Soccer Families,

Registration for our Spring season is moving right along and the soccer season will be here before we know it. And there's some important updates to our calendar and season info. that everyone needs to know. All returning BYSO participants and new participants from U6-U15 are able to remain in the same Division they were eligible for in the 2021 Fall Season. (Unless you chose to move your child up into an older division.) For the U15 age kids if you were eligible to play in the Fall (were not 15 yrs old as of 9/3/21) then you're still eligible for our Spring Season as well. This applies across all divisions i.e. if your child played in U11 last season but has turned 11 since then, they are not immediately forced up into the older age division. That change comes at the beginning of our Fall season only. Please contact us if you have any questions about your child's eligibility or just want to confirm what age group they should be in. [email protected] IMPORTANT INFO: Registration Closes Feb. 25th so get your athletes signed up! Pre-Draft Coaches Meeting Feb. 28th 7:00 p.m. Skills Assessments for U8, U11, & U15 Divisions are March 5th. (TIMES TBD) Drafts for ALL Divisions to follow the Skills Assessment on March 5th. Practices may start on the following Monday. Our Opening Day for the season is April 2nd. Tournament Day is on May 21st. We are extremely excited about the upcoming Spring Season and looking forward to seeing all of you again, as well as meeting all our new families joining us this season. We are always looking for Volunteers to help from Coaching to Concessions and just about everything in between so please feel free to contact us if you have interest or any questions about volunteering with the BYSO.
