Welcome to Phoenix Rising FC Youth Desert Foothills soccer program!

Our developmental/competitive program consists of 20-25 teams representing U7 through U19 divisions. This program will continue to focus on supporting young players who are developing their skills, as well as players demanding a higher level of commitment.  Our teams compete in state in state-wide leagues, either Port of Subs Open League, Advanced Placement League, or Arizona State League, organized by the Arizona Soccer Association. Most older teams finish the season with state championships in either the President’s Cup or State Cup tournaments in March and April.  Our professional staff of coaches and trainers provide excellent instruction under the direction of Directors of Coaching Staff.

How do I become a Competitive Player?

Step 1: Attend tryouts, a training session, or skills clinic
Skills Evaluations/Tryouts take place May each year. We recommend attending at least 3 tryout sessions. Click HERE for more information. It’s always a good idea to attend our Spring Skills Clinics as well so coaches have more opportunities to see you in action, and players practice with current competitive players.  NOTE:  Players can always be evaluated at training sessions if the season has already started. For more information, please contact the office at 480-488-8485 or email [email protected].
Step 2: Join a team
If applicable, a coach will reach out to you and offer a spot on a team. Congratulations!  If you accept, move on to Step 3.
Step 3: Register for DFAC and the Phoenix Rising FC Youth program
Club registration is required in order to participate in team activities. See Registration tab for current programs.
Step 4: Complete paperwork and Team information
You’ve already registered for the club, but now there are some team items to take care. You should have received additional paperwork attached to your confirmation email, OR, your team manager will provide (Player Commitment, Financial Commitment, ASA Code of Conduct, ASA Medical form for managers to keep on hand). Your team manager will collect his paperwork. See Step 6.
*Contact the office if you do not know who your team manager is.
Step 5: Order a Uniform
Uniforms are ordered directly through SoccerLoco online.  Your manager will coordinate jersey numbers BEFORE you place your order. He/she will let you know the price of the uniform kit and give you further instructions.
Step 6: Start Playing
Your coach or manager will communicate the practices days, game dates, and tournament schedule, although these specifics may not yet be available until mid-August, and game schedules not until September. All teams will participate in School of Excellence clinics in August and the Desert Elite Cup tournament over Labor Day weekend.

Any questions? Contact the office at 480-488-8485.
