Rose Tree Colts Cheer is always seeking dedicated volunteers (Coaches and Assistants Coaches/Junior Coaches) for our cheer program.
Be part of one of the most seasoned and dedicated youth recreational cheer program in the area!

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS: Looking for an opportunity to give back to your community and gain your required service hours? Volunteering to junior coach is an excellent opportunity to do just that!!

All squads will have a minimum of one Parent Coach, Assistant Coaches (both 18 or older) or Junior Cheer Coaches (under the age of 18).

All interested volunteers should complete the volunteer application, and should submit all criminal background checks, child abuse clearances required for all cheerleading coaches and assistant coaches. In addition, Bert Bell Memorial Conference's requires all coaches complete a background check through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI). Upon approval, each coach and assistant coach will receive a League ID Card with photo to wear at all games. Rose Tree Colts will provide all training for incoming coaches at no cost to you!! 

Coaching Responsibilities:

Provide an enjoyable experience. Sports should be fun. Even if nothing else is accomplished, make certain your players or cheerleaders have fun.

Provide a safe experience. You are responsible for planning and teaching activities in such a way that the progression between activities minimizes risks. The club will provide ALL training for coaches.

Teach basic skills. In becoming a coach, you take on the role of educator. You must teach all of your cheerleaders the fundamental skills and strategies necessary for success in the sport of cheerleading.
