McKinney to host 2019 State Championships!

McKinney has been selected as the host city for the 2019 Texas High School Lacrosse State Championships. It will be a festive Final 4 environment at MISD's Ron Poe Stadium with the top 4 teams from Division 1 and Division 2 coming into McKinney to square off for the State Championship.

The event will draw approximately 10,000 high school fans from across the state to McKinney with teams advancing from a state-wide playoff bracket. Last year's Champs, The Woodlands High School, will face challenges from teams ranging from Austin, San Antonio and the great North Texas area including Allen, Southlake, Highland Park and our own McKinney Lacrosse Club which represents the MISD area.
