Hello everyone!

It's getting very close to open registration and tryouts for the spring season. Tryout dates will be on Sunday March 6th and Sunday March 13 at the YMCA.
                         Boys & Girls Grades 2-4 @ 9:00am

Boys & Girls Grades 5-6 @ 10:30am

Boys and Girls Grades 7-8 @ 12:00pm

                                   -----OTHER CLUB NEWS------
We have some big changes this upcoming spring season! 

1) We are officially changing our name with Mass Youth Soccer to North Quabbin United Soccer Club(formally Athol Soccer Club) to be more inclusive of the surrounding towns. Kids from all of the North Quabbin towns are eligible to play for our club. 

2) New Website/Address coming soon!

3) We have again partnered up with the New England Revolution for this year's MLS season. Every player will receive a free REVS ticket for our NQU REVS night and we will be gifting our season tickets for every home game to random players and their families to enjoy! 

4) We are investing in brand new training and agility gear among other useful tools for our coaches. -New uniforms for the foreseeable future. **Looking for more coaches or assistant coaches for grades 3/4 and 5/6. TRAINING PROVIDED. We can't stress enough how important it is for volunteers to step up to be able to keep the club running and to give competitive Soccer an option for our children in the area. If anyone is interested please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns! Without coaches there are no teams. 

**ATTENTION**
       Anyone over 13 that would like to start refereeing travel games on Saturdays and get paid for it please contact us. There are training programs available through Mass Youth Soccer to get accredited.      

      Lastly, I would like to thank all the new board members that have decided to step up and  take on the task of running this program for the community. I also want to congratulate and give extra thanks to our recording secretary Mathias Correa on becoming our new Ref Coordinator for our region. It's a position we have not filled in a long time.
