·       Umpire clearances are needed for 2018 (none on file for this year as of 4/5/18)

·       Little League switched background check contactors/providers from First Advantage to J.D. Palatine at the end of March. That means that every volunteer from this date forward will be required to fill out a “new” volunteer form because they are not yet in the J.D. Palatine database. The main difference between these providers is that J.D. Palatine gives volunteers the option to fill out the form traditionally and turn it in or via link sent in an email from the safety officer. The latter provides an option for those who don’t want to give out their SS# on paper.

CONCESSION REPORT (Couturiaux) –

MISC/OTHER –

NEW –

·       For Discussion / Vote:

o   The Board needs to discuss/ clarify Post Season Tournament Play…. How many tournaments POLL will pay for when we host a tournament and our team(s) participate.  Left open for discussion at the next meeting.

o   Suggestion to set up a committee to meet outside of board meetings to come up with Firm proposals to present to board to vote on for projects like dugouts in O.M. and maybe new press box/concession Chester hill.  Purpose of committee would be not to take time at board meeting.  If you want to have some input in the projects, be part of the committee………….JJ White will lead this.

·       Attempted break-in at SRLL concession Friday night.  New padlock installed, but is really a temporary fix.  Aaron will have contractor come to install new deadbolt.  Will also investigate CH concession stand door.

·       Signs hung for sponsors.  Some replacements are needed.

OLD –

·       Children are NOT allowed to sell 50/50 tickets…….Sellers MUST BE 18 or older.

·       Field / Equipment Upgrades?

o   OM dugout…….JJ suggested possible add-on / new arrangement involving open air benches extending down the lines from current dugouts and the entire area fenced in.  Add lockable doors to dugouts to address historical vandalism issues.
