SJMSAA Soccer is open to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students zoned for their Middle School location in St. Johns County where programs are in operation. Generally, the season kicks off with tryouts in August, followed by the practice and game season from October through December.
Below is general information from the 2019 season as an example.
Registration details:
- Player registration due 9/23. Registration fee is $305.00
- Registration fees cover uniforms, field rentals, referees, main association O&M, soccer supplies, coaches stipend, end of season tournament.
- Uniform Order places 9/16/19
- Uniform can only be guaranteed for season delivery if placed at this time.
Practice & Season details:
- Practice begins the week of 9/16/15 (Soft) if student does not have any other sport commitment
- Practice Officially begins the week of 10-15-19 all students
- Students are required to have their physicals turned in to coaches/team manager before first practice
- Girls Practice Tuesday / Friday 2:15 to 3:45 MS/ 3:00 to 4:30 K-8
- Boys Practice Monday Thursday 2:15 to 3:45 MS/ 3:00 to 4:30 K-8
- Season will begin 10/21/19 Girls
- Season will begin 10/22/19 Boys
- Girls Games: Monday /Thursday 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
- Boys Games: Tuesday / Friday 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
***11-1-19 **UPDATE** End of Season Tournament 12/13/19 to 12/15/19 ***
NOTE: IF WEATHER CONDITION REQUIRES ST JOHNS COUNTY TO CLOSE GRASS FIELDS AND ONLY TURF FIELDS ARE AVAILABLE THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE REVISED TO A SINGLE GAME ELIMINATION. IF NO FIELDS ARE AVAILABLE THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE CANCELLED .
ALL STAR GAMES DATED TBD.
