SD Skatelife Partners with Ramona Skatepark Champions

Ramona Skatepark Champions is happy to announce our partnership with SDSkatelife, the premiere skateboard coaching organization in San Diego County! Together we are pleased to offer a progressive skateboarding program, after school in Ramona!

SD Skate Life was established in 2013 in order ensure the future of skateboarding. The goal of SD Skatelife is to connect young skateboarders with passionate instructors who have extensive experience teaching skateboarders of all ages how to build balance, coordination, and confidence both on and off a skateboard.

Through SD Skatelife, we are pleased to introduce our dedicated coach, Ryan Wooldridge. Ryan is a full-time student at San Diego State University. New to Ramona, his family has transplanted from Northern California, where Ryan coached skateboarding for 5-years at a skate camp in Marina, California. Ryan competed (and won) in the California Amateur Skateboarding League, (CASL) and attended Camp Woodward.

Through partnerships with Ramona Lutheran Church & School and the Grace Community Church, we look forward too offering progressive skateboarding lessons in Ramona, after school, to allow any skateboarder of any level to start where they are and progress their skills. Beginners can learn balance and skills, and advanced skateboarders can learn competition skills, how to perform in front of a judge, and how to recover from a mistake.

Participants of our program can compete to win a sponsorship from Ramona SkateparkChampions to compete in the AM-SLAM regional skateboarding competition series in the summer.
