Thursday, May 30th is the last day of 7 on 7 practice and our last games are on Sunday, June 2nd (starting as early as 1pm) Please start hydrating now for these practices and games, as it will be extremely hot over the next week.
GYFCL would like to congratulate Matt Hawkey on being voted in as the Red Mighty Mite Head Football Coach. He has been an assistant football coach with the league for 4 years and with the league for over 10 years. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Scott Buffington is no longer able to commit to that position. Congratulations Coach Hawkey!!
Saturday, June 15th – GYFCL’s 1st Annual Alumni Football and Cheer Camp 10:00am – 1pm!!!
This is an event for our CURRENTLY registered Knights only, to prepare them for the upcoming football and cheer season. We will have many former Knights and Dukes football players and cheerleaders coming out to help with offensive and defensive football stations and cheer stations, as well as our 2019 Coaches. This is completely FREE to all CURRENTLY registered Knights and is open to ages 5-14. Concession will be available for sale and anyone willing to help volunteer on this day is encouraged to contact any of our board members. FREE shirts will be handed out, but ONLY if you register via email BEFORE June 5th. The email address to register is : [email protected] Please provide the following information in your email: Name of child, DOB and age as of July 31st of 2019, Parents names and their email and phone numbers as well as child's T-SHIRT SIZE. We will still take registrations after June 5th, but there is not guarantee to a t-shirt if you register after that. A flyer will be posted soon to pass along and share to our entire Knights family!!
