FREE BASEBALL CLINICS
TCALL
will be hosting two free baseball clinics on Saturday, January 12th and
19th. Below you will find more information about the clinics:
Who: This clinic is for all boys and girls ages 4-12, even if they are not registered to play in our league.
What:
Clinics are similar to practices. Players will be broken up into
groups and will move from different stations that feature various skills
and techniques. This is a chance for players to work on the basic
skills of fielding, throwing, hitting, and base running. This is a good
chance to prepare for the upcoming player evaluations, help new players
decide if they want to give baseball a try, and help parents with
players who are deciding between two divisions make a choice.
When: 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Check-in and Warmups (Have players arrive early for check-in)
(Players ages 4-6 should be eating lunch by 12:00)
(Players ages 7-12 should be eating lunch by 1:00)
Parents are welcome to drop off players and pick them up at the end, or they can stay and watch or help out.
Where:
Arcadia County Park (405 S. Santa Anita Avenue, Arcadia) Softball
Diamond #1. (North of the tennis courts in the center of the park.)
What to bring:
Players should bring their baseball equipment (glove, bat, helmet,
cleats), if they have them. (There will be extra equipment there to
borrow, if your player needs it.) All players should wear pants
(baseball pants are preferred).
Registration:
If you haven't registered your player for the 2019 season yet, we will
have in-person registration during the clinic. We will also have plenty
of board members there to answer any questions you may have.
FREE LUNCH!: Free lunch will be provided for the players at the end of the clinic.
