I hope you're having an enjoyable Summer and doing what you like to do.
I wanted to let you know that registrations are now open for Fall Softball. All you have to do is go to our web site at www.fnllgs.org and follow the registration link. I'd like to encourage you to register early. This really benefits everyone because it lets us plan, get an idea of number of shirts we need etc.
The program will start the first Saturday after Labor Day on September 7th and run for 8 weeks until the end of October. It is open to girls ages 6 to 16 and you should plan on a Saturday and mid-week session. This year we're going to focus on skills development and I hope to bring in some outside people to help in that regard. We've reduced the cost this year, and it is just $60 for the Fall season.
We'd love to see the program extended to more girls, which results in a better experience for everyone. The best way of getting the word out is by word of mouth, so perhaps you can all do me a favor, and let five friends know what we are doing. Forwarding a link to the website or sharing an Instagram or Facebook post is a great way to spread the word. In addition, we will have some lawn signs available - please let me know if you'd be willing to place one on your front yard.
I'm looking forward to us getting back together in September and continuing our quest to empower girls through sports.
